端午節的英文故事：伍子胥與端午
很久以前，楚國的皇上昏庸無道，伍子胥為楚國人民過著艱苦的生活，還時常受到嚴刑拷打。後來他投奔了吳國，幫助吳國打敗了楚國。
楚平王死了以後，伍子胥為讓還在吳國的楚國太子坐上王位，帶著滿腔的憤怒和設計在端午這天將太子殺害了。
後來，楚國的人民為了紀念伍子胥，就將端午作為節日，以他的忌日作為端午節。
