英文小故事：The Lonely Tortoise and the Helpful Ants
Once upon a time, there was a lonely tortoise who was feeling very sad and alone. He had been walking for days, but had not seen any other animals. He felt like giving up and decided to lie down and rest under a tree.
While he was resting, he heard a rustling in the leaves nearby. Looking up, he saw a group of ants coming his way. The ants were carrying a large leaf and seemed to be carrying it to the nearby stream.
The tortoise asked them why they were carrying the leaf and where they were going. The ants explained that they were building a bridge over the stream so that other animals could cross more easily. They said that they would also help any animal who needed their help.
The tortoise was very happy to hear this and asked the ants if they could help him. They agreed and helped him up. From then on, the ants and the tortoise became good friends and they traveled together, helping each other whenever they could.
The story teaches us that we should always be kind to others and help them when they need it. We might be small, but we can make a big difference in someone's life.
