萬聖節故事英文版

故事標題:萬聖節的南瓜燈

Once upon a time, in a small village in the dark woods, there lived a kind and curious little boy named Jack. Jack was always looking for adventure and trying to understand the secrets of the forest.

One Halloween, Jack was walking through the woods when he came across a beautiful pumpkin patch. He saw a big pumpkin that was much larger and brighter than the others, and he knew it was the perfect pumpkin for his lantern.

Jack took out his pocketknife and carefully cut a small hole in the top of the pumpkin. Then he lit a candle and placed it inside, making the pumpkin glow with a soft light.

The next day, Jack decided to take his lantern out into the woods to scare away the spirits and ghosts that were said to roam there on Halloween. As he walked through the dark trees, he could see his lantern flickering in the distance, giving him a sense of safety and protection.

Suddenly, a hideous shape appeared from behind a tree, causing Jack to jump back in fright. It was a terrifying goblin that had been trying to scare Jack himself. The goblin turned and scurried away, and Jack smiled to himself as he watched it disappear into the forest.

From that day on, Jack's lantern became a symbol of protection and courage in the village. People would light their own lanterns and take them out into the woods to ward off evil spirits. And every Halloween, they would tell stories of Jack and his lantern, making sure to keep their own hearts brave and strong.
