"Once"在句首的使用主要有兩種情況：
作為連詞，"once"用於引入一個條件或過去式。例如：
Once you have finished your homework, you can watch TV.（一旦你完成了你的家庭作業,你就可以看電視。）
Once the contract is signed, we can proceed with the project.（一旦契約簽署,我們就可以開始這個項目。）
作為副詞，"once"表示「一次」或「曾經」。例如：

Once there stood an old church on the hill.（山丘上曾經有一座古教堂。）
在句首使用時，"once"可以直接放在句首，不用加逗號。
