stand忍受用法

「stand」作忍受「講時，其後既可接動詞不定式，也可接動名詞，常與「can not」「could not」「will not」等連用，一般用於否定句和疑問句，強調不喜歡，但不用於進行時態。

例如，「I can't stand sitting and doing nothing.」（我受不了整天坐著無事可做），「He can't stand people who are always late.」（他不能容忍總是遲到的人）。
