My Idols
I have two idols that I admire and look up to: Lin Dan and Thomas Edison.
Lin Dan is the greatest badminton player in the world. His skills are so excellent that watching his games is always a treat. He is known as "Super Dan" because of his dominance in the sport, and he is not only skilled but also handsome and charming, attracting a lot of female fans. What I admire most about Lin Dan is his hardworking spirit and dedication to his craft. I hope his glory continues for many years.
Thomas Edison, on the other hand, is a genius inventor who changed the world with his innovations. Even as a child, he was not seen as particularly intelligent, but he had a wealth of imagination. Edison is credited with over a thousand inventions, including the light bulb, and he believed that "Genius is one percent inspiration and ninety-nine percent perspiration." His dedication to innovation and hard work inspire me to pursue my own interests and goals with the same level of commitment.
These two idols teach me the importance of hard work, dedication, and perseverance. They show that with enough effort and persistence, great achievements are possible. I aspire to emulate their qualities in my own life.
