英文寓言小故事：The Donkey and the Elephant（驢和象）
Once upon a time, there was an elephant and a donkey who lived together in a small village. The elephant was strong and brave, while the donkey was quick-witted and had a big imagination. One day, the village needed to move some heavy logs, but there were too many of them for just one animal to handle.
The elephant suggested that they ask the donkey to help, but the donkey was nervous and didn't think he could do it. So, the elephant taught him how to use his muscles and how to work together as a team.
With the help of the elephant, the two animals managed to move all of the logs and even finished building a new bridge in the village. Everyone praised their hard work and kindness. But as they were returning home, the donkey felt ashamed of himself. He thought that if he hadn't been so unsure of himself in the beginning, he could have helped even more.
So, the next day, the donkey approached the elephant again and asked for help. This time, he was ready to work hard and do whatever was needed. The elephant was pleased with his new friend's attitude and agreed to help him.
From then on, the donkey and the elephant became best friends and helped each other whenever they could. They realized that working together was much more powerful than trying to do everything alone.
