引導讓步狀語從句
no matter where 的用法主要是引導讓步狀語從句，表示「無論在哪裡」。例如：
No matter where you are, you can always reach out to us. 無論你身在何處，你總能聯繫到我們。
Even today, no matter where Chinese people live or what dialect they speak, they can all still communicate in writing. 即使在今天，無論住在哪裡，也不論說何種方言，中國人都仍能通過書寫進行交流。
這種結構只能用來引導讓步狀語從句，不能引導名詞性從句。與之相對的「疑問詞+ever」結構則更為靈活，既可以引導名詞性從句，也可以引導讓步狀語從句。例如，「wherever」在引導讓步狀語從句時，相當於「no matter where」，意為「無論何地」。
