Once upon a time there was a boy who went out to pasture his sheep. One day, he heard a wolf in the distance and cried out to his neighbors for help. They quickly came and chased off the wolf.
The next day, the boy went out to check on his sheep again and he heard a wolf again. This time, he didn't call for help. He thought that maybe he was mistaken the first time. But when he realized that he was wrong, he realized that he had been warned by his mother to be careful about making false alarms.
The next day, the boy went out to pasture his sheep and when he heard the wolf cry again, he didn't run. Instead, he thought to himself, "I'm not going to believe it this time."
However, this time, the wolf really was coming for him. The sheep were all safe and sound in their pen, but the boy was too stubborn to believe that there was a real wolf coming for him. He didn't run away when the wolf came closer and closer.
Finally, the wolf caught up with him and ate him up. All of his neighbors came and saw his body on the ground. They all knew that he had been warned not to call wolf in the absence of wolves and to be more cautious when out pasturing their animals.
And that is why we should always be careful about making false alarms and listen to our parents' advice.
