I read the Chinese version of 「Camille」 a few years ago. At that time I was deeply moved by the main character Marguerite Gautier. 「Camille」 or 「The Lady of the Camellias」 by Alexandre Dumas, fils, is the story of Marguerite Gautier, a young courtesan, or kept woman, in Paris in the mid 1800's, and how she falls in love with a young man, Armand Duval, and then tries to escape from her questionable past. I think Marguerite was right in saying that no one truly cared about her, but only wanted something from her, the only exceptions being Armand and Julie Duprat. Of course, the Comte de G. and Comte de N. wanted her body and appearance. The Duke needed to 「wake up and smell the coffee」 and realize that she could never replace his dead daughter. If he truly cared, he could have helped her leave her lifestyle without 「keeping」 her himself. And lastly, Prudence was a blood-sucking leech who used Marguerite almost worse than the men. I also think she was jealous of the fact that Marguerite had so much more courage than herself and someone truly loved her.

今年寒假，我看了一本英文小故事書，這本書叫《穿靴子的貓》，是由（法）perrault,c.著，（紐西蘭）joysharp等改寫的。這是一篇外國童話故事，內容講的是：一隻聰明的貓幫它的主人娶到了美麗的公主的故事。
看完這本故事書後，我覺得這隻貓真聰明啊！比如，這隻貓經常用卡拉巴司侯爵的名義，向國王送去各種禮物，讓國王非常高興，對卡拉巴司侯爵印象非常好，就想當面見卡拉巴司侯爵；為了讓主人有新衣服穿，它讓主人跳進河裡洗澡，然後把舊衣服藏起來，並對國王說衣服被小偷偷走了，國王就送給它主人新衣服穿；為了讓主人有個城堡，這隻貓跑到妖怪城堡前面並先請妖怪變成一隻獅子，然後趁妖怪得意的時候請妖怪變成一隻老鼠，並馬上撲上去一口咬死了變成老鼠的妖怪，於是獲得了漂亮的城堡。
通過這個童話故事，我明白了一隻聰明的貓比大的磨房和大的驢子強多了，小小的貓通過思考想出各種好辦法乾成了大事，我要向這隻愛思考的貓學習，遇到事情時要多多思考，想出各種辦法來解決問題。
